Half full OR half empty

Wisdom of a taxi driver.
If you know the way, then I don’t.
If you don’t know the way, then I do.

How much do we really know? How much do we not know?
Perhaps more importantly, do we know how much we don’t know?

How much is store in our brains versus our willingness to learn and grow? Is there a correlation, I wonder?

This is a curious paradox. A young man goes up the mountain to seek wisdom from a wise sage. The conversation went on between the young man and the sage, from politics to life. Soon after, the sage offered him tea. The sage poured the coffee, filling half the cup and followed by tea into that tiny little teacup, it overflows… overflows… overflowed…

The sage said, ” You are here to seek wisdom, yet you are filled. Empty yourself!”

I leave you with the quote from a really wise Taxi Driver,

Wisdom of a taxi driver.
If you know the way, then I don’t.
If you don’t know the way, then I do.

How much do we really know? How much do we not know?
Perhaps more importantly, do we know how much we don’t know?
